How I help

Start wherever makes sense for you

Every organization starts somewhere different. Some need the full picture before they change anything. Some need guardrails on AI their staff are already using. Some just need their team set up and confident. Most eventually want help putting the plan to work.

Here's how I help with each, and you can start wherever makes sense for you.

Map it

AI Strategy Audit and Blueprint

Interviews with the people who do the work, a clear picture of how it flows between departments, and a Blueprint that puts every opportunity in order, each one backed by what your own staff said.

Best for: organizations with 10 to 100 staff and more than one department, especially after a new strategic plan.

Set guardrails

AI policy and guardrails

Your staff are probably already using AI, and they deserve clear answers about what's allowed. I help you:

  • Find out what's in use: which tools, on which accounts, and for what work.
  • Write an AI policy your staff will actually read. It's in plain language and sized for your organization, covering which tools are approved, what information stays out, and how to remove personal details before using AI.
  • Move work onto accounts the organization controls, often at nonprofit pricing that costs less than people expect.
  • Walk your team through it in a short session, so everyone knows how to follow it.

Best for: any size. For larger organizations it's part of the audit. For smaller ones it's often the right first step on its own.

Train your team

Team set-up and training

New habits come from getting set up well and then practicing together.

  • The right tool for your team, at nonprofit pricing where it's available.
  • Set up with your organization's context, so the AI knows who you are, who you serve and how you talk from day one.
  • Short, recorded setup videos people can watch at their own pace and come back to.
  • Hands-on workshops where your team brings real work, shares what's working, and learns from each other.

For smaller teams: group training cohorts bring several small organizations together, so you get the same program at a size that fits your budget.

Best for: any size, and especially teams under 10 where a full audit would be more than you need.

Put it to work

Implementation and ongoing support

Once you know what to fix, I help you fix it.

  • A short scoping session to choose the two or three opportunities that matter most.
  • Workflow builds for the recurring work that eats your team's week, such as donor data clean-up, thank-you letters, program and grant reports, board packets and content.
  • Connecting the tools you already have before recommending anything new.
  • Custom builds when the tools you have can't do the job: something built around how your organization actually works, scoped and priced with you before any work starts.
  • Monthly support for teams that want someone on hand as needs change: new workflows, refresher training, and a regular check-in on what's working.

Best for: organizations that have a Blueprint (from me or anyone else) and want help acting on it.

Many organizations follow this path in order. Plenty start in the middle. Tell me where you are and we'll figure out the right first step together.
